Summary of Dust of Snow

The poem Dust of Snow by Robert Frost tells us how a very small and simple moment can completely change our mood and feelings. The poet was having a sad and hopeless day, but then something unexpected happened. A crow sitting on a hemlock tree shook down some snow, and a little bit of that snow fell on the poet.
This tiny incident made the poet feel fresh and happy. His heart felt lighter, his mood changed, and he realized that his day was not completely wasted. What looked like an ordinary thing — snow falling from a tree — actually gave him hope and positivity.
Through this poem, Frost teaches us that nature has the power to heal us. Even the smallest things in life, which we usually ignore, can bring joy, comfort, and peace. It also shows that sometimes happiness comes from unexpected places.
